■ About UXCON
The UX conference that connects ideas, people & purpose
Hosted near Washington DC, UXCON is more than a UX conference — it's a global movement where design meets purpose and professionals build real, lasting UX connections.
■ Inspiration & connection
What makes UXCON one of the best UX conferences?
Of all the UX conferences out there, we stand apart through our unwavering focus on inspiration and connection. At UXCON we don't just share knowledge — we light creative sparks and cultivate genuine UX connections that continue long after the conference ends.
■ Our story
Part of our DNA
UXCON is made by UX University (UXU), a volunteer-powered nonprofit that teaches technology through real work. It began years ago as a small research group and kept people learning and working together through COVID, which taught us something simple: bringing people together is the foundation of everything we do.

■ Where
Why Silver Spring & DC?
Just minutes from the heart of Washington DC, Silver Spring is the perfect home for a world-class UX design conference. Attendees can enjoy everything from inspiring city vibes to rich cultural diversity, while accessing a wide network of DC's UX and tech community.
This is home for us too. The founding team grew up and got inspired here, and Silver Spring still reminds us of it — so UXCON is our way of building that same sense of community and home for everyone who comes.
